VoLTE RAN Optimization: Voice over LTE is a service through which voice is delivered over an all-IP network, and so the RAN design must be optimized to the right levels for it to deliver the right quality. However, whereas a normal data call can be throttled down if the subscriber is in an area of low quality (high interference), a VoLTE call has a guaranteed rate of service.

VoLTE provides a number of benefits for operators and end users by enhancing LTE radio spectral efficiency and offering High Definition (HD) voice quality. VoLTE can use LTE on low frequency spectrum for good coverage, providing fast call setup times and enabling high data rates during the voice call. By doing this course, students can gain knowledge of how to define VoLTE RAN optimization Process, Mobility and Identify call establishment etc.
